OUR PHILOSOPHY

We believe that you do not learn from just hearing lectures. Many different elements take part in the learning process, but most importantly you learn from doing. We strive to provide you technical information in an easy-to-digest manner, and then encourage you to do practical applications of this knowledge so that it is engrained in your mind.

We work in VERY small groups so that you have as much 1-on-1 tutoring time as possible. If you have questions, we will be there to answer them and to guide you through the learning process.

We encourage a fun atmosphere where you feel comfortable to ask questions and experiment, but still focus on improving your photographic knowledge.

Adler Photo Workshops constantly strives to provide you with workshops that help you improve your photographic skills and stay on top of latest technology and techniques. We offer a wide variety of classes to suit the varying interests of photographers. Whether you seek to learn studio, photojournalism or improve your Photoshop techniques, we have classes to suit your needs. Adler Photo Workshops began in 2005, and started its London location in 2008. Lindsay Adler is the primary tutor of this photographic workshop company.

ABOUT LINDSAY ADLER:

Lindsay Adler is a professional portrait and fashion photographer working in New York, London and abroad. Her work has appeared in dozens of publications internationally. She is a regular contributor to publications such as Popular Photography, Shutterbug, and Professional Photographer.

For the past 10 years, she has owned and operated a studio in Upstate New York, and currently she shoots for several international fashion magazines including Sublime, MindFood, Existence and many more. She has received dozens of awards, scholarships, and honors for her work including two Hearst Awards, two CPOY awards, the Jeff Licata Award for Photography, the Eric Meola Award and many more.

In March 2010, her first book "Linked Photographer: New Media and Social Networking" will be available in bookstores nationwide.

Each year Adler teaches thousands of photographers through workshops, conferences and seminars, as well as through her educational videos and content in blogs and on YouTube.
